Graduates from CMA Accredited Programs

Your completed application must consists of the following:

  • A completed CRGS and/or CRCS Exam Application for Sonography Canada Examination.
  • Verification that the Canadian Clinical Skills Assessment (CCSA™) has been completed for the exam specialty selected on the application and that the completed and signed Candidate Clinical Skills Summary Form has been submitted by your program representative on your behalf (see the Prerequisites for Examinations listed in the application form or in the Candidate Guide.
  • Full payment of the appropriate examination fees (which will be inclusive of any CCSA fees).
  • All credentialing requirements must be completed within four years of program completion subject to the Eligibility Policy.
  • Note: your program registration must provide supporting documentation to prove successful or imminent graduation from a Canadian (CMA) accredited diagnostic ultrasound education program 

Graduates from CMA Accredited Programs offering Vascular Curriculum

Your completed applicaiton must consist of the following:

  • A completed Sonography Canada Vascular Application form which includes signature and the date of submission.
  • Documented proof of successful program completion which can include a copy of your graduation diploma, certificate, or a copy of your final Official School Transcript.
  • Proof of successful completion of your CCSA. The CCSA completed must be in the specialty for which you are registering. Please ensure that the completed and signed CCSA Candidate Summary Form has been submitted to Sonography Canada by your program representative on your behalf.
  • Proof of successful completion of a Sonography Canada approved written exam.

CRVS Credentials - ARDMS (RVT) or CCI RVS are acceptable

  • Full payment of all registration fees.
  • All credentialing requirements must be completed within four years of program completion subject to the Eligibility Policy.
