Echocardiographer Cardio/Respiratory Position Available - Thunder Bay, ON

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) provides specialized patient care, innovative research and clinical studies for more than 275,000 area residents.  With 388 beds, our inter-professional, academic health sciences centre facility delivers acute care, cancer care, ambulatory, forensic and community mental health care with a full complement of professional staff and leading-edge technology.  The Health Sciences Centre (HSC) is dedicated to patient and family centred care and the Patients ARE First philosophy, valuing accountability, respect and a commitment to excellence.

Reporting to the Manager of Cardio/Respiratory & Diagnostic Support Services, the Echocardiology Technologist is responsible for providing a wide range of echo procedures in the adult, paediatric, and neonatal population. 


  • Completed a CMA accredited program in cardiac sonography
  • Registered, or eligible for registration with Sonography Canada.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in an acute care setting
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence skills
