Through our collection of state-of-the-art clinics, we deliver diagnostic imaging excellence and high-quality services to enhance patient care in 13 clinics, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Commitment to outstanding patient care which includes family and caregivers
  • Performs high quality ultrasound examinations in a professional, timely and safe manner
  • Uses good judgment when assessing cases to differentiate normal and abnormal findings
  • Ongoing knowledge of the day-to-day organization of the clinic
  • Assesses current and future workloads
  • Ensures equipment is operating optimally, including troubleshooting and yearly quality assurance
  • Contributes as a team player and maintains a positive work environment
  • Performs other non-technical duties including maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Complies with all Mayfair policies, procedures and protocols 

Requirements

  • Active credentials and membership in good standings with Sonography Canada inclusive of liability insurance OR active membership in other international registries (ARDMS, ASAR etc.) are considered with intent to becoming registered with Sonography Canada is required
  • Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited ultrasound program recognized by Sonography Canada or equivalent is required
  • Demonstrated superior technological skills with proof of competency in abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, small parts, superficial structures, and general vascular ultrasound procedures
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong team player and able to work independently
  • Superior time management and multitasking skills with the ability to keep up with a demanding daily workload
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and priority-setting skills Technically inclined and easily adaptable to new equipment
